The Social starts at 6:30pm followed by Dinner at 7:00pm. We will need many volunteers to make it run smoothly I hope you can join us this Thursday evening and hope to see you there. We will need volunteers for pouring, serving, bussing, etc.; as in the past. Once dinner is over, and the auction begins, you’ll shift to the role of spotter.  John Garrison and Sean Conti will work the tech end of things with check-in and check-out.  As a reminder, even if we volunteer, we still pay the admission fee of $75 that goes towards the Gabriel Project.

Knights of Columbus Council 6527 pays tribute to the millions of children killed by abortion by erecting this memorial at St. John Vianney Cathoilc Church. Human life is a sacred gift from God to be protected and cherished at all stages from conception to natural death.

  About our Council

The Memorial Council No. 6527 was created in 1972. It was made up from members of St. Cecilia Parish, St. Cyril Parish and St. John Vianney Parish. The Council originally met at St. Cyril’s then moved to St. John Vianney Parish in 1974. Now, it is primarily made up of parishioners of St. John Vianney.

The Memorial Council No. 6527 Knights of Columbus has contributed financial support to several originations and currently hosting events. The members of the Knights of Columbus are involved with the different activities along their many ministry duties at our Parish of St. John Vianney.

  About the Knights

Thanks to the efforts of Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven and some of his parishioners, the Connecticut state legislature on March 29, 1882, officially chartered the Knights of Columbus as a fraternal benefit society. The Order is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity and fraternity.
